My Work

A soulful journey through Afro-Surrealist soundscapes and futuristic visual narratives. Each project is a faithful exploration of the Black experience, blending worlds, experiences, truth, and the avant-garde.

Rooted in the Surreal

I explore the intersectionality of the Black experience, weaving Afro-Surrealism into the vibrant tapestry of my Bay Area roots. My work is a visionary dialogue between the earthly and the heavenly, capturing the multidimensional beauty of our journey through life from Y2K to infinity.

The Journey

San Francisco Roots

Born and raised in the heart of San Francisco's District 10 aka "The Point" [of my story]. Aleja's creative identity is uniquely shaped by the city’s foggy coastlines and rich history of Black cultural resistance, Hyphy, Jazz, toxic waste, relationships, and industrial renassance.

Artistic Odyssey
Visionary Path

With more than a decade of high-level performing and recording, I have refined a signature Afro-Surrealist style that bridges deep thought with sounds, lyrics, and shows you can feel.

My work explores the intersections of ritual and future-forward story-telling, inviting audiences to journey through Afro-Futurist narratives that redefine how we see Black and Brown experiences in the future.
